Being issued now? If you&#039;re stuck with a 9mm pistol, G17/19 seems to be a simple and easy to mantain choice. It&#039;s too bad the G17 was excluded from the service pistol selection trials in &#039;85(?). As far back as the mid &#039;90&#039;s, I recall a few SMU guys that carried G21&#039;s.</blockquote>
