IDPA Oil Capital July 23 Saturday

Saturday July 23 will soon be here, along with Oil Capital's regular monthly IDPA match. This month's stages will be selected to run quickly. We'll have shade on every bay, as well as ample bulk water. Expect 6 stages for around 100 rounds. Set-up starts at 0730, sign-in at 0900 and walk-thru at 1000. Match fee is $12 ($10 to OCR&GC members).

Great shoot. Thanks Jack for setting up a challenging shoot in the heat. The water and shade were appreciated. There was a little cloud cover and wind so it was not that bad.

Just a note, if you have hot shot IDPA and thinking about come out and get involved.

Also, if you are carrying and have not shot IDPA and are not professionally trained, you might be surprised at just how much there is to learn about self defense with a handgun.
IDPA is a great place to learn how to handle a gun in real life scenarios.
