IDPA Saturday Sept 22 OCR&GC

It’s time for IDPA at Oil Capital. Saturday September 22nd is the date for the next match. Weather forecast looks great. Set-up begins at 0730, sign-in at 0900 and walk-thru promptly at 1000. Match fee is $12 ($10 for OCR&GC members). Expect 100 required rounds or so. Always a good idea to bring more ammo, just in case you forget to look at that lumpy thing (front sight) on the front of your pistol.

Thanks to all for coming. Results out to the shooters via email. If yours does not find you, please PM me. A few challenges this match. Two stages with weak and strong hand. Some 35 yard shots on full size targets. A bobber target. There were non-threats here and there. It’s said to say that only a couple “happy hands guys” escaped the match completely unscathed. Top scores on stage honors went to Heath K. (2), Jason G. (2), Jason H. (1) and me (1).

We did have a decent turnout for the Classifier following the main match.

Your next Oil Capital IDPA match will be Sunday October 14th. Come shoot and bring a friend, neighbor or family member. IDPA is a lot of fun!
