IDPA Sunday Aug 10th @ Oil Capital

Sunday August 10th will be the upcoming regular IDPA match at Oil Capital. Set-up commences at 0730, sign-in begins at 0900 and safety meeting/stage walk-thru promptly at 1000. Entry fee is $12 ($10 for OCR&GC members). This will be a 6 stage match with around 100 required rounds. Stages will be set to run quickly. We will put up several tents on the stages where cool shade isn’t otherwise convenient and provide ample bulk water as always for shooter comfort.

As far as a Classifier opportunity after this match goes, it’s a “go”. Temps are predicted to be on the mid/low end for Oklahoma in August and with a tent/water on the bay will be okay.

Thanks to the several who made it out to the Sunday August 10th IDPA match. Results are out to the shooters in BCC email form. Several of the stages were a step up in challenge. A couple stages were borrowed from the recent Arkansas State and Texas State championships. Others were of that level of challenge. Eric F was shooting well today and took low time on all six stages. The scores show a relatively low number of NT hits and FTN’s; folks were on their game pretty well. We finished shooting about 1:30 and were put away shortly after.

I’d like to thank the shooters for their aid in match set-up and put-away. It’s much appreciated.

Your next Oil Capital IDPA match is Saturday August 23.
