As to Gaston, everything inside his design is Browning, so that wouldn't be around. Same with most other designs. Not saying someone else wouldn't have comeup with the same idea's, they would have been slower in making their appearance on the world. There also wouldn't be the Winchester 92, 94, 95 lever action designs, or the Win. 85, 87 design shotguns. Alot of our 22lr designs we take for granted wouldn't be here either if John Browning wasn't here.</p></blockquote><p></p>
