We don't have to round up anyone. If you take away their incentive for being here most will deport themselves. It happens in states when they make new laws cracking down on illegal immigrants. Those immigrants, realizing it will be harder for them to find work and housing, pack up their stuff and leave. So why should we reward them for breaking the law? If they get a pass, shouldn't we just wipe the slate clean for everyone who has broken the law in the past and has just managed to not get caught yet?That said, I don't mind revamping the system for allowing immigrants to come here to work and/or become citizens. But if we don't secure the border and pass laws making it extremely undesirable and difficult to live here illegally then we are just wasting our time. We will just be raising our unemployment now and then kicking the can down the road as more illegals flood the country for the next round of amnesty.</blockquote>
