Several small instances over the years, but the one that hurts the most is the theft of my Fathers firearm collection. My dad bought all firearms in pairs, one for me, the other for my little brother. Will was written and we all had copies. The day before he died from liver cancer, while on morphine in hospice care, my "stepmother" had the will changed and he supposedly sign it (while unconcious). Days after the funeral my brother and I arrive to acquire the arms, stepmother shows us the "new" will leaving everything to her. Before we could get lawyers/judge to stop her, she sold ALL of them in an estate sale. My father made my Brother and I swear we would NEVER sale the guns he was leaving us, he wanted them to stay in the family as heirlooms. We promised we would never let them go. Unfortunately his wife was more concerned with money than his last wishes. We never spoke to her again. "Watch your six, count your rounds, and keep your powder dry."
