+1 on that article. I'm glad there is a shift in mentality here, wish it would of happened prior to the temple shooting.

Even those speaking against gun control in that article make arguments for it. The police were there in 4 minutes...yeah big deal. Look at Aurora, you know how many innocent lives can be taken in 4 minutes? When seconds count the police are just minutes away, this drives that statement home hard.

With technology today who knows maybe the police can be there in 2 minutes? How? Aside from being closer in proximity at the time of the call, ain't happening. The only way to even attempt to accomplish that is with more police and with the budgets of today's running departments, that's not happening either.
