Message: <blockquote data-quote="sh00ter" data-source="post: 2085383" data-attributes="member: 24531"><p>I think that people who are VENDORS at a gun show should all be FFL's if they are selling guns...I should still be able to sell a gun to my uncle Charlie or to a person on this board though whout out being an FFL or having to go to an FFL to do the deed...I think the compromise would be to make gun shows only allow FFL's to have a gun table AND the ATF come up with a standardized form that you fill out as a fire arms bill of sale when you do a private transaction...NO IT IS NOT SUBMITTED TO THEM...but just as an extra "feel good step" which 80% of us on this board probably already do if selling to a stranger because it covers your ass; then you file the form and keep it for a min of 10yrs or something. Except, right now, there is no standardized fire arms bill of sale so it might be nice to come up with one to make the non-gun people see the gun community is reasonable but not willing to accept infringement. Any rational man could see my solution gives the other side something to feel good about without taking our rights away???</p></blockquote><p></p>
