I prefer to shy away from commenting on personal doings but this one is one I'm feeling very blessed for. I started out with dark Pee for several weeks then stomach pain in Oct. The Dr sent me for a CT scan on Oct 31. They noticed that the bile duct was dilated so a stone blocking the duck was suspected. Had to wait a week to get scheduled for that and the pain meter just about pegged. Got the stone removed but they came back & said go get cleared with your heart Dr for gall bladder removal & when you get that we need to remove it right away. Went in to surgery at 9 am and got out at 12:30. Was supposed to take 45 min. I KNOW my Wife went through a lot during that time. What they found on the laproscopy was that the GB was connected to my stomach and colon. They had to cut some of both to get it out. I stayed an extra day in hosp then came home. Feeling better and off the oxycodones now. (Just don't cough, right? <G>) So I searched the condition I had and found only two others. One was like mine & was in 2009. The other was Cong. John Murtha. His surgery failed at completely closing off the colon. It went South from there and after developing a fever he reentered the hosp & died a few days later. I'm one lucky dude and that made for a Great Christmas for me & my family.
