I decided, long ago, that people who are terrified by Firearms are mostly afraid of themselves and what they fear they would do if they had them. When I read antipew propaganda proclaiming that "several weapons and 1000s of rounds were discovered"...my mind translates it into, "probably a rusty pocket knife, a big spork, an old softball bat, and a big bulging box of BBs." It works both ways. Many people here have/have had whole "Armories", Liberally speaking . I've had a few nice, mellow, good friends who've kept up a few large collections (even by our standards)... especially older people who bought stuff back before it was "classed"....by the truck load. Personally; I feel safe and secure around those friends. And even around a few unarmed ones. Yes, some of them have taken, and given, the odd bullet here and there.... but mostly job (Gvmt job) related.... Still, I think I speak for, most of us, when I say that 1 or 2 tons of armament doesn't necessarily make one a psycho killer... Because many of those items are really heavy; so it's not that much stuff....really. Plus, historically- it's proven to be a rather wise and prudent investment... especially by now. So, even IF some guy over on the next block, or some ol farmer I barely heard of died and 'was discovered' to have a legit stash (or three) of cool guns, I just think, "Damn, now ya tell me." Maybe we coulda done some swapping or shooting, or sumpin'. I'm still not too comfortable around some of these younger, urban firearms aficionados, however. Not to mention all of Alejandro M's new shitizins...But those issues, too- can be mostly tracked directly back to ......l iB er,...als. Knowhadimeen? "
