A lot of shops had somewhere between 50 and 100 of a single lower on order prior to the amazing sales rush, not to mention other parts. After talking to the shops (I'm in the market for two lowers), most said they don't have any intention on gouging and will honor the prices they have been charging. The caveat to that was if the manufacturers plan on raising their wholesale prices. I understand that businesses need to make money, and that that has a direct correlation to the price that they pay the manufacturer so it's possible prices will have to go up. That said, the local shops and those not so local that I've talked to have stated that right now nothing is going up. How true it is, I don't know. So what do you think? Have you seen local shops trying to put the screws to their customers? Am I crazy to think that I'll be able to pick up the lowers I'm looking for in the next couple of weeks at a reasonable cost?</blockquote>
