Dennis, It's Jones & Lamson. :D I come from a long line of machinists. My great grandfather was a dad-gum genius. He designed and built his own automatic lathes and mills way before NC, CNC or even electronic calculators. He also designed and built a one-off vault door for a bank and was an astronomy buff so he built telescopes too including grinding the glass. Even made one for a university somewhere long before I was even thought about. He was German so it fits. lol Flat, I'm right there with you. I'd love to take about a two month road trip to see some sights. Revolutionary war battle sites, Springfield Armory...How cool would it be to stand where George Washington, Thomas Payne, Paul Revere or Ben Franklin once lived and worked? But I fear that I would just come home more bitter than I already am. :scream:
