The yankees end up moving there because they are running from the problems their liberal policies create ( like high crime and taxes) and they bring their ideology with them and then do not realize the reason they left New York or New Jersey is the result of those policies. Delaware and Maryland are two communist states now because of people mostly from Jersey moving into them. Both states were slave states, both had segregation as a matter of law in the constitution and both states had secession votes ( the one in Delaware did not go anywhere) yet you would never know it as blue as those states are today.
