Message: <blockquote data-quote="thor447" data-source="post: 4314395" data-attributes="member: 24867"><p>As long as the pivot that the seconds hand mounts to didn't break off, and it is simply a matter of the hand popping off cleanly, it's a fairly simple fix.  Just make sure to have the watch stopped by removing the battery, or pulling out the crown (if the movement has a 'hacking' feature) before resetting the seconds hand.  Good magnification is critical, as that's a tiny pivot and easy to break if done incorrectly.  With proper tools and magnification, it's pretty quick work.</p></blockquote><p></p>
