I wonder what the response would be if this had been turned around and someone in the United States noticed something, anything, that someone from a Muslim country had said or done that we did not agree with. (Surely there will be something that will offend someone in the US some day) What would happen if a group of our citizens were to destroy their Embassy and murder their representatives here in the US? I wonder how the Muslim's would respond to that. Would their government apologize to us for some of them offending us with a beheading, or something like that and be done? Until the people in some of countries get desperate enough to police themselves, they will continue to roam the streets. It seems they have nothing to do except wait around for the next free handout from the US. I wonder how many tons of wheat Egypt produces vs how much we ship them for their bread? I wonder what resources they have for their manufacturing? I wonder whose technology the use for medical assistance, water treatment, anything, etc. They want to act like rabid monkeys, cut off all the US support we have been giving them direct and through the UN for decades in money, technology, human aid, food, and yes, even KFC, and let them fend for themselves a few years. Then lets see if they would rather talk or throw a firebomb. Trying to buy their friendship has not worked, again, only add fuel to the fire. I am close to being in favor of backing out, letting them fight it out, and then think about re-assessing if we will consider talking with whatever is left over. I think it is very bad policy for the good people over there to be standing back waiting for the US to come in and save them. They need to pick themselves up and take care of their business or die trying like the US has shown it will do when the chips are down.
