I've been thinking of building a "Bessie" SBS

You know, Jerry Reed, 70s bad guy movie shotgun.
6" ish barrel and a pistol grip, maybe even a stock like the the bottom two in pic 2.
Has anyone done one?
I'm running into walls on which shotgun to use.
I don't want to lose reliability, and it seems like mose SXS's and O/U's now have an extended forearm.
I'm not stuck on it being 12ga.
I'm open to 20ga and 410..
Heck, I'm not even stuck on it being SXS. There aren't enough O/U thumpers in the world.

FWIW, I'd suggest 20ga. Less kick than a 12 (which will be a huge factor on such a small frame), and ammo is easily available.

Lol well, until recently, usually available anyway...

Also, put yer off hand on top of the barrel to shoot it. Otherwise, ya may find yourself parting yer hair with it.
:drunk2:
I almost brought home a .410 SXS from H&H yesterday but the barrels were comically teensy. And I think it was choked now that I think about it
