United States comes to mind as the most well know case in this area.   The Supreme court ruled that mere political hyperbole must be distinguished from true threats.  What Yeager said was just that political hyperbole.  Also local law enforcement was not involved here.  It was the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security that suspended his CCW.</p></blockquote><p></p>
