I would like to know more about the Justices and Judges before I blindly vote to dismiss or retain them. I know some are in the mindset of kick them all out every cycle, but I want toretain good ones as much as dismiss the bad ones. Does anyone know of a good reason to dismiss any justice or judge?

Justices of the Oklahoma Supreme Court:
John Reif
Tom Colbert
Joseph Watt

Judges of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals:
Gary Lumpkin

Judges of the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals:
Jerry Goodman
Jane Wiseman
Deborah Barnes
Keith Rapp
Jack Goree

I ALWAYS vote against the incumbent. ALWAYS ...

There is not a man or woman in the judiciary, and I would also argue the executive or legislative branches, that ought to be allowed to "serve" more than one term.

Vote them all down. If any one of them hasn't distinguished him or her self in any positive way, dump them. If you have heard or seen something good about one of them, keep him or her. Otherwise, sayonara!

^^^^This has been my practice for several election cycles. I've never gotten enough like-minded people to join my vote to send one of these black-robed minions of Satan down the road but I have hope it will happen some day.

Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals: Jane Wiseman performed the first gay wedding in Oklahoma.

I was wondering why I've seen so many No Wiseman yard signs. Thanks. While I appreciate the limit on their terms, I'm not convinced their replacements won't be worse. I guess it all depends on who is appointing them.

I've been on the vote them out train for years.
Until someone points out one who has served honorable I'll stay on that train.
If you know of one please let me know.

^^^ This!

I always vote to out them. Good or bad, I don't want elected personnel forming their own empires over time. We need term limits on ALL elected positions.

I was reading a link on the Oklahoma Policy Institute trying to get info on the Judges last night, when I came across a statement that no judge has ever lost a retention election in Oklahoma. I don't know anyone that votes to keep them. How can this be? Am I really that much in the minority?

I don't believe ballots should have a straight party line vote, nor list party affiliation with the names.
Putting the incumbent in bold is just as stupid.

List the name. Know who you are voting for or against or don't vote.

The straight party vote and noting incumbents is what puts most of the asshats in office.
