Watched "North Star" again yesterday....lots of Mausers and Nagants in that one. Best part is Ukrainians having fleet of tractors and tons of horses. No - best part is Germans draining children's blood to give transfusions to wounded soldiers.

Absolutely not, Hensch! The propaganda machine was limited to the 3rd Reich. I have no doubt that the tractors, horses, surpluses of food, educational opportunities, and freely traveling the country were all portrayed honestly. If things hadn't been so good, why - the invaded people might have joined up with the Germans! An Appleseed Instructor from La. emailed me, he just got a 98! Win their hearts and minds!
