Jeepers, Been - you're crusin' for a brusin', arencha? That video looks like it was taken in the mid-1930s. I recognize the fellow on the right in the beginning of the video; I think it might have been Hans Baur, Hitler's personal pilot in the 1930s.
Nice. VZ-24s are my second favorite Mauser, after the evil K98K. Pretty good barrels, wood, bluing? I know some that were coming in a few years ago were in really nice shape.
Oh, thank the lord, it has returned! My only K98 is a FR-8 Spanish Mauser in 7.62x51. No, it is not Nazi, but it does have fascist/nationalist roots, so it's still cool, right?
