Message: <blockquote data-quote="kennedy" data-source="post: 1997735" data-attributes="member: 7176"><p>I understand what the OP is saying, I think.  If Oswald was the shooter and he had smuggled the rifle in...would he have really left his pistol at home.  Who knows.  If he really was the shooter, maybe he was so involved in what he was about to do that he simply forgot it.  I think what happened was is that he was involved in it in some way.  He wasn't the shooter.  I feel that after he heard and realized the plot had happened(also realizing the bus was coming that he was soon to be thrown under), he went home and retrieved his pistol and then proceeded to find a place to disappear until he figured out what he needed to do.  If he was the lone shooter, why did Ruby need to assassinate him?</p></blockquote><p></p>
