i think the article catt57 put up says that the receiver is made by them and based on the 10/22. if its a ground up gun then the price doesn't seem to bad.

They use a receiver that is based on a 10-22 action, but made of steel to add weight to the gun to make it feel more authentic. I was really hoping to see one in person at the last Wanenmacher's show, but no luck.
