Yes I bought my wife a Dyson Animal for Christmas last year. Still married. She loved it. Guess who uses it more than she does? Yes Me. I just get vacuuming duty while she does other things like Laundry. I love it. Yellow Lab and Corgie hair were our nemisis. With this one we hardly have a hair problem. It pulls more dirt out than our 15-20 year old panisonic vaccume. Its no 1500 Kirby which I refuse to use after one of their door to door salesmen came into my house once. Never again. Danny hit one good point. the dust that is kicked up when vaccuming is minimized with this one. No sneezing when I get done. Well worth the money paid for it.
