Looks like 18% fewer people (Republican, Democrat, and and Independent) thought the President lost the second debate by a narrower margin than he lost the first debate.
Trump says he won the first debate. He says he is undefeated in all of his political debates !

Biden's margin over Trump in this post-debate poll is just 1 point wider than Clinton's win over Trump in a poll of viewers of the final debate in 2016. Biden's margin is the second largest in recent CNN polling following final presidential debates, behind Barack Obama's 58% to 31% margin over John McCain after the final 2008 debate.

The CNN post-debate poll was conducted by SSRS by telephone and includes interviews with 585 registered voters who watched the October 22 presidential debate. Results among debate-watchers have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 5.7 percentage points. Respondents were originally interviewed earlier this month either by telephone or online, and indicated they planned to watch the debate and would be willing to be re-interviewed when it was over. Respondents initially reached online are members of the SSRS Opinion Panel, a nationally representative probability-based panel.

At one point, Biden was trying to remember the name of a river, and he squinted his eyes as he tried to recall the name, and couldn't. Instead he uttered something to the effect of "brrrrrrrrrrr!". Maybe I am the only one who caught his lapse of memory. There were several other episodes where he appeared to go blank. He didn't have these lapses in the first debate. The Donald came across as astute, sharp on recall, and in control. In fact it was almost akin to a cat playing with a mouse as Biden floundered, like a drowning man grabbing at anything that will float. I said elsewhere that the laptop was a lethal wound to Biden, comparable to a battleship taking a torpedo. And that battleship is taking on a list now. Just when he had the cat in the bag, the cat is loose.

If you didn't know a whole lot more about the laptop than what was disclosed last night, you wouldn't have a clue or even know what laptop they were talking about. It did no damage to Biden whatsoever.

The debate was pretty much zero impact on either side. People know who they will vote for an the debate won't change many of them...if any of them.

Understood. But it is blood in the water and is taking on a life of its own elsewhere. Reporters are starting to break ranks with their parent organizations despite being disciplined. That Biden has fair weather friends in the media is an accurate assumption.
