Started back with weekly range trips on Tuesdays with the wife a few weeks ago after not going at all for months due to Chinese virus concerns. But I have cut way back on shooting 9mm because I only have a couple thousand rounds and I'm kind of keeping them in reserve.... So, wife shoots her S&W M&P 22 compact and I went out and bought me a Glock 44. I like it because my EDC is a Glock 19 and it is the same size, fits my holsters and has pretty much the same trigger as my G19. Been trying for the last two weeks to zero the G44 because it was shooting left and high even shooting from a rest when I got it. Adjustable sights moved the POI to the right where it is dead on now. Adjusted rear sight to lowest position allows POI at POA and 7 yards, but is about 2 inches high at 15 yards. I'm surprised that it is that much different but I've shot many rounds from a rest on 2 separate outings and getting the same result. I guess I'm just going to have to hold low at 15 yards or maybe get a taller front sight and change it out. Other than that, I really like the G44. I've had no issues at all and have shot several different brands of bulk .22 ammo through it. I'm not having any magazine or feed issues with it either like some of the videos seem to be reporting. I've been able to find some .22 LR ammo so as long as I can keep some of that around I will keep shooting.
