I don't spend money on lottery tickets, casinos, vaping, etc. so $10-$15 is my form of addiction. I usually see something I haven't seen before, or at least for a long time, and often find something I need to take home. Sure there are often comical prices, but all that takes is a chuckle and walk on by.

There are 3 things in this world I'm sure of.
Death
Taxes
and gunshows being a waste of time and money

Sometimes they are.

But, sometimes a good deal is just laying there waiting on YOU. It can also be an opportunity to make a few bucks on something you no longer need. Sometimes you run across (not over in the parking lot) an old friend you haven’t seen in years. Sometimes if you listen, you hear about something new you may be interested in coming out or a good deal across the room. The tales told to sell the product are always a hoot. (Rijas was always entertaining) It’s also an opportunity to get out of the house and stretch your legs and see some new scenery. It’s always a good time to spend quality time with a family member with the same interests Or, you can find that scarce Beanie Baby you need to complete your collection.

It seems to have become a statement of "wokeness" to complain about gun shows.

For me, going to a gun show is like going to the circus --- 'ya mostly know what you're gonna see, but you may see something absolutely amazing! Roll the dice, Baby!!

I went. Not too bad --- most guns were in the 'reasonable' price range. Lots of knives. Some ammo at stupid prices (looked like folks had been cleaning out the very backs of their closets). However, there was a fairly large group of 'economy' AR's at the $550 price point, don't remember the brand.....

Admission was $10 instead of the $14 advertised. Most people I've seen at a gun show in quite a while. I did buy a couple of bore sighters, not a great buy, but OK.

Must not have been the high end Rojas ARs on display there at that price.
