In reality, the toxicity level of the acts of extracting the lead from the battery, then melting it makes this a very hazardous endeavor. The EPA would be none too pleased either I would imagine.
It's an excellent way to exchange healthy lungs for a couple of bullets though, I suppose.

That battery lead has cadmeum(MS) in it and is very deadly when melterd down as already said recycle the battery and buy scrap lead/WW
