Decisions you make in the heat of a life or death encounter will be second-guessed by the prosecution, the media, and those you thought would "get it". </p><p></p><p>I guess the best we can do is prepare diligently, exercise discretion in our behavior, be able to articulate our reasons for our actions, and recognize that if we end up ever having to shoot, it could very well ruin our lives.
