Good info in this post! This press runs new brass and prepped brass good. I size and decap in a single-stage first so i can trim, remove crimps, final tumble and inspect. I use a universal decapping die with the decapping rod removed in the first stage to set the top of the stroke height, then set the rest of the dies from there. Watch the Lee videos for setting the dies and make you a couple of note cards to remember the steps have the steps handy when you need them. Safety note for the load master: Every once in a while a primer will not decap in stage 1 and a primer will get smashed in #2 on the primer that didn't decap due to the decapper poking through it instead of pushing it out. If you feel a stroke that doesn't feel right (gets really tight at the top of the ram stroke), stop immediately and check the brass in stage #2 before advancing. If you advance at this point it will cause a jam while advancing. I chunk the messed up brass when it happens. Load master is a good press, but this will happen while decapping some brass (maybe 1 or 2 in a 1000).
