Shoot em with a bb gun or sling shot. They get the message real fast and will stay away. All else fails if a dog is acting agressive towards me on my property that will be a dead dog. Folks want dogs, hey thats great, just keep them put up on your place, if I want to clean up dog ****, I will get a dog, and dont let them bark all night long to the point it keeps those around you from enjoying their property. As far as talking to the dogs owners, I have learned over time, the hard way, that it does no good. People look at them as "babies" and how dare you say something bad about their "babies", you then become the bad guy who must hate animals. I just make it clear, keep them put up and off my place, and there will be no problems.
