"Voter confusion"?!?!

Someone actually made that argument?

That's actually a standard argument at the Capitol and in the courtroom. The government apparently has a "compelling interest" to limit "voter confusion".

I've always wondered if they want to try to explain the Terminator's 2003 election beating out 133 other candidates for California governor without a runoff as evidence of "voter confusion"...

I think the "voter confusion" part comes from the small minority that wanted to vote for Ron Paul. :pms2: :pms2:

Does that mean you agree with denying ballot access to legitimate candidates, so long as they don't have the all important "R" or "D" behind their name? BTW, Ron Paul did have an "R" behind his name last time around. :)

An interesting question, if Ron Paul came out and said he no longer supported legalizing drugs, would he lose 50% or 75% of his support?

Seriously it does need to be easier to get on the ballot in OK. That is one of the few areas Oklahoma is lacking.
