The brown truck dropped off the last part I need to complete my first AR build. I admit this one is toy and a learning experience. I did a little research and did not build this pistol on the Spikes lower I posted earlier in this thread. I built it on a S&W unmarked lower. The lower came in box with a serialized label stating "stripped lower", there is also a piece of paper in the box from Smith with the serial number and "stripped lower" as well as my receipt stating the same. It's listed as "Other" on the 4473. Yeah, I am probably being paranoid but this is a gray area and I feel I have sufficient documentation that the lower I used left the factory as a virgin lower and has never had a butt stock attached. Whadda ya think? [Broken External Image] I haven't decided what to do with the Spike's lower, maybe a mid length 16" gun or??? I plan to make it an ongoing project and turn it into something nice, dependable and practical. It will be all black though.:thumb: The lower is S&W, LPK is RRA, Buffer tube assembly is Spike's, Upper is a 7" Kitty Kat and the carry handle is temporarly borrowed from my Colt. Cute, huh?
