[QUOTE="flatwins, post: 1729864, member: 5655"] It's no secret that I have a thing for the Swedes. I had been wanting an M94 for awhile and my brother called me last week from a pawnshop, describing what sounded like a M94. He picked it up for an unbelievable price, making me one happy camper. Most of these have been Bubba'd pretty hard, driving up the price of the originals. This particular example is a 1904 and was not converted to the M94\14 model with the bayonet lug. I have a reproduction nose cap on the way for it and hope that one day I might find an almost unobtainium original. Someone applied varnish on the stock and some of the metal parts decades ago but so far it is coming off with just a fingernail. I haven't been able to remove the main stock yet as I can't the rear action screw to budge and have broken two screwdrivers in the process. The stock will be carefully restored with the proper military finish. So far, this is all numbers matching except the bolt which is 2 digits away from the receiver. I've altered the serial number in the pics. For reference, the M94 has a barrel under 18" so it feels like a 10/22 but packs a little more punch.
