Sweet... mine is a H&R with a '55 barrel. She's a pretty good shooter... picked her off the rack myself at Anniston about 5 years ago.

Yes, I have a bayonet, but no, I've never used it.

Very nice!! I do like rifles built on the '98 Mauser action. Tell us a little more about it--military Mauser action, obviously, but what else?

Not sure what barrel it is honestly, my dad had it put together since he had an action laying around doing nothing. Helives in Louisiana, and when I made the trip a couple years back for my grandma's funeral, he sent it back with me. Said he couldn't stretch its legs like he should down there in the thickets, knew I could here in western OK. I believe its an Argentine or Brazilian Mauser action, can't recall right off. Of course the PST on top, and I load 123 gr A Max's over some H4350 @ 3030 fps. Killed my last two rifle bucks with it, performs very well on our whitetails! I've only shot it out to 600 on steel, mainly just playing and burning some rounds he sent with it so I could get brass to load my own. Done the Duracoat job myself; started with ultra flat tactical Coyote Brown, and knew it needed something to kinda break it up a little, so just kinda tiger striped it with flat black.

My Savage Hog Hunter. I just finished coating the stock yesterday. I bought a stock off of a Savage 10FCP, primed it, sprayed it with Rustoleum Stone Textured paint and sprayed 4 coats of clear. I think it turned out pretty damn nice! It's equipped with a Vortex 6-18x44, Harris, Accu-pod! I love this thing!

Here is the latest toy. Remington 700 300 Win Mag built with blue printed action, Krieger 26 barrel #9, B&C Tactical A5 stock, old model trigger tuned and spring kit and Tubb oversize lug with 20 MOA steel base and Leupold PWS rings holding Vortex Viper PST FFP 4-16X50.
