Message: <blockquote data-quote="mapcon1941" data-source="post: 1968228" data-attributes="member: 18257"><p>I picked up a Chase Durer aviator watch in Aruba on our honeymoon.  It was a great price for a great watch.  Sold it 7 years later for more than I originally paid for it.  I should have kept it, though.  It was one I wouldn't spend the money on now.  Also, beware of watches on Ebay.  I bought a Seiko for what looked like a good deal from an overseas seller.  It looked exactly like the watch on Seiko's website, but would stop running overnight.  I took it to a local jeweler who disassembled it and showed me that the movement wasn't a Seiko.  He said it was a good fake, but still a fake.  I filed a counterfeit claim with Paypal and got my money reimbursed.  Lesson learned.</p></blockquote><p></p>
