Has any one ever used a Leupold Golden Ring 12-40x60 spotting scope??

I'm looking at one online and I'm curious about it.

Also is the Golden Ring 12-40x60 HD worth the extra couple hundred dollars??

I will be using it mostly for benchrest at OKCGC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
