How thick is the steel? I’m debating on seeing if I can make it or if the honey-do list is too big. If I could go I would like to bring the new X-bolt in 28 Nosler to sight it in, but don’t want to damage steel.

Thanks Dennis. I'm looking forward to attending. I'll be bringing a co-worker with me that I shoot regularly with. He is one of the two people I brought to the last ENS at Big Boys.

It’s AR-500 Steel that gets a lot of hits with .300 win mag.

Browning X-Bolt Hell’s Canyon Long Range. It’s my first Browning rifle. I put a Redfield Revolution 3-9x50 that I’ve had in the safe for a while on it. I need to get to the range to sight it in.

Thanks! Does the .300 Win mag leave pot marks/damage the steel. Most of the loads I’ve found for the 28 Nosler have more KE than the .300 win mag.

Congrats. Those Hells Canyons are beautiful rifles. Those Browning X-Bolt actions are nice and smooth, they have great barrels, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better factory trigger. Looking forward to seeing it!
