looking at getting a marlin 917 vs 17hmrA

Anybody have one, likes or dislikes. Maybe a savage what do yall think

I've got a 917VST grey laminate with a thumbhole stock. It's an incredibly accurate gun and great fun to shoot. The heavy bull barrel adds a lot of weight, but it isn't much of a problem. You'll love shooting them. The magnum round makes you feel like you're shooting something a lot bigger.

Very good gun. I had one for a while and liked it a bunch.
Received a nice savage model 93R17BTVLSS and liked it better so I sold the marlin.
The little marlin would flat out shoot man.
