Looking for competition/fun matches

Hello,
I was borne and raised here in OK and have enjoyed firearms my whole life.
I'm looking to get into competitive shooting matches... AK stuff preferably.

Any suggestions or general direction I can look into?

It is and while most people run an AR there are several people that use AKs. There’s a night run n gun next month snd the next day one is in January.
