Message: <blockquote data-quote="nhgsr" data-source="post: 1382672" data-attributes="member: 15307"><p>I never cared much for cats, but one day my ex-wife acquired one.  she had always wanted one and thought it would be "her" pet since the dogs she had rescued over the years all liked me better.  Initially I got a kick out of the cat because it shadowed me everywhere and wanted nothing to do with her.  Once I realized that it needed zero house training, kills any critter or insect that finds its way into the house or basement, and plays fetch it started to grow on me.    Since my golden passed away she has made a good buddy for my great pyr.  Long story short, I got rid of the wife and kept the cat.</p></blockquote><p></p>
