[QUOTE="trickydick, post: 1392653, member: 12214"] I normally don't bother trying to explain myself or my comments to people. But people that discard their pets when times get tough is something that I know about first hand. Over the last five years I have taken in nine dogs and three cats that were too much of a bother for their owners. Lawton passed some sort of pet laws about 2 years ago and the people that had too many or didn't want to pay a little money to get them registered, flooded the county with their pets. When I take these pets in I commit to keep them for their entire life and they all see the vet atleast once a year for their vaccinations and check ups. Maybe I was a bit harsh on Perrone, but from the discription in his first post, that was the impression that he left me with. Maybe pet ownership is a deeper responsibility than some realize.
