Looking to get a rifle can in .308 as a do all for .223 - .308

Definitely want something with a good mounting device that serves some purpose. Flash hider is good but a brake would be great if it's truly effective.

Been looking at Griffin Armament 30SD and maybe Optimus and AAC 762sd or SDN6 so far. Just not sure how well these compare. Suppression is great but not the biggest consideration since it will be mostly full powered loads anyway.

Opinions?

Look at the Hailey Ordnance 30 cal can. They are also made local in Okc.

This is the standard version($550) and there is also a magnum version($650). It comes with a trust if you do not already have one.

I have the Silencerco Omega. It comes with both direct thread and QD muzzle device compatible rear caps, and one QD brake. Silencerco's ASR QD design is pretty cool -- it is fast, and allows for one hand installation and removal of the can. They also offer QD flash hiders, as well as a blast shield that attaches over one of their brakes or hiders to turn it into a linear compensator. The Omega itself is very light weight and small for a .300 WM rated can. I got mine from Andrew at T2 Armory in Owasso (sky248 on this forum)... he gave me the best price I've seen on them.
