[QUOTE="p238shooter, post: 1902220, member: 24583"] I thought "the private sector is doing OK", and growing with "all those new jobs that are being created". I am sure this is not humorous to you or anyone else that is out of work right now. I do feel for you, I know several very good people that are looking for a job that will pay enough to support their families. It seems many companies are concerned about what their employee expenses of taxes and health care will be in the coming year, and knowing others will have the same costs which will filter into the economy in general which will determine what the market will be for their products. It is a vicious circle, and I know if I still owned my business, I would be very, very concerned right now. If there is a possible change in government direction, (you never really know, but what we presently have is not working) I think you will find many companies loosen up and hire more workers because people might start spending a little more money to purchase more products. If there is not a change, most likely you can at least see additional extensions of unemployment benefits and other subsidies. By posting here, I would have to presume you would rather be working than unemployed. I was fortunate enough to get out of the workforce before this mess really started, but I am still concerned for my family and friends. I do wish you luck in finding something productive quickly.
