I also think making it voluntary for school districts to implement will make it MUCH easier to pass the Oklahoma Senate and House, get a lot more backing. We can get the NRA involved to sponsor training of instructors, maybe even get some of our people HERE to get in front of students and administrators, legislators. We can make this happen in Oklahoma. We get OK2A involved, we can help get the legislation written, passed and stamped in the next session!I don't know how to do this, but I will personally meet with my local Rep and bring the idea up to him, see if I can get him on board to be a sponsor or co-author. Anyone else think they can get their local Reps or Senators involved? Whose district has a heavy pro-gun, pro-safety, pro-education Rep or Sen? Who else wants to get this implemented in Oklahoma public schools????AND is willing to work together within our system to get it done???</blockquote>
