Don't do it for your family, do it for yourself. If you really want love, don't look for it, it'll find you. I was living the single life. Had a one bedroom apartment, all the electronics and gadgets I wanted to have, the freedom, the booty calls, I had everything. I had my group of friends I always hung out with, most of which were girls. I had this girl who was my best friend for 2 years, casual friend for a couple prior. We hung out like she was my buddy from high school. There was never anything more than a friendship between us. Literally, within 12 hours my life did a 180. Our friends and I had gone out to Mike's Bar for the evening and went back to her place so we could all eat pizza rolls and watch a funny movie (tradition). Her and I were in the kitchen and we don't know what came over us but we kissed and it was like we fell in love instantly. Love was the last thing I was looking for at that time, I was thoroughly enjoying the single life. But here I am now.. I really did marry my best friend. Hopefully after I get my weiner ass kicked for sharing that story, you'll find some inspiration there.
