Clamp it down on the line hold your pole up higher then where the lure is caught. The spark plug will slide down the line, when it gets to where the lure is stuck start bouncing it and it will unsnag your lure. "NOTE" from experience make sure plug is clamped to line before you do this, as the plug will fall off in the water and you will be standing there saying Ohhhhhhhh I see.
