Any one that has a Water Well on their place, should own a draw bucket.

I agree. Sadly I'm only one in my family that'd draw water. My wife would "bail" out when the sink quit.

My water well pump depth is about 20'. The water table is about 10'

If I have to work/replace the pump, I can pull the whole string up by hand and lay it to the side.

Water is not an issue.

If I run outta fuel and can't get more.....shtf and no amount of fuel will help. I'll head to Bartertown n hope the girls can find a use for me.

I'll just walk another 1/2 mile to the river to get my water. Good Ideas though for those with wells only.

LOL, not counting the refinery just upstream.

But its water and it can be purified.

Our well is actually in the old river bed from how many thousands of years ago, we don't know. Over time its moved west leaving this sandy bed that the river actually still moves through albeit slowly, but its always tested pure with lots of minerals. We use a water softener to buffer the hardness.
