I've owned two Randalls (RC3s) and they are great knives, but they're made of 1095 High Carbon steel and they ask a pretty penny for them seeing as how the cost of the materials are pretty low (and 1095 does require some extra care when seriously using it in the elements). I'm not taking anything away from them for that - truth is, they're tough great knives, but since they split ways with Ontario over the contract to make the RAT knives, Ontario started making RATs in D2 Tool steel for just a little more - I'd probably go with an Ontario next time if I got one, but for an EDC fixed-blade, the RC3 was just a little too large. Now the Izula II with the micarta handles on it... that one shows some promise. Still, nothing compares to the Game Warden as far as fit to my hand (I'm waiting on Sumo to chime in and give his approval :D ).
