Polytech M14 Has USGI barrel and Bolt Conversion and reparked to match by Prior Owner. Receiver & OP rod is Forged,Barrel is chrome Lined, chambered in 7.62x51 / .308.. Wood looks like walnut, but not sure, no carouches could be aftermarket..

This is the most expensive gun I ever bought, but one Ive wanted for 15 years but settled for a cheaper rifle everytime...A holy grail of US type service rifles if you know what I mean.
Ive had to sell uite a bit of stuff to fund it, but dont think i will miss that other stuff "too much"..

Who made the bolt and barrel? I'ld also be very interested in how it shoots and what ammo it likes best.

No sure on who made the barrel or bolt zI was told USGI by seller .It was that way when I got it...

Ive got some German AND South African 7.62x51 but wont hit the range until friday, which my class schedule shooting does not get priority
